Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the tourism industry, and data intelligence firm Mabrian is at the forefront with its latest innovation. The company has introduced AILA (Artificial Intelligence Live Assistant), a Generative AI-powered virtual analyst designed to optimise tourism management by delivering real-time insights and data-driven recommendations.

In a press statement, Mabrian says that AILA is intended to support destination and tourism company managers by interpreting large volumes of verified tourism data and delivering real-time insights.

It adds that the Mabrian will showcase AILA at FITUR 2025, with a live demonstration scheduled for January 23 in Madrid.

The statement adds that the AILA is integrated with Mabrian’s platform, utilising seven data modules, including air capacity, traveller behaviour, accommodation, spending, telecommunications, mobile data and sustainability.

Mabrian says that the AILA allows users to query tourism trends and receive precise, customised recommendations based on the latest available data.

It adds that the AILA’s design aims to be user-friendly, offering responses in natural language and adapting to specific user needs.

It further adds that the future versions are planned to expand the tool’s capabilities, allowing for multi-layered data analysis, predictive measures, and even automated actions.

“Until now, Gen AI developments in travel and tourism have primarily focused on improving the end-customer experience. Recent rapid growth in the accessibility of Gen AI tools led to innovations designed to enhance travellers’ experiences, from planning their trips to their stays. AILA represents a paradigm shift. By adapting this powerful technology to a proven data ecosystem like Mabrian’s, we exponentially increase the capabilities and efficiency of decision-makers in destinations and tourism companies,” says Santi Camps, CEO and Founder, Mabrian.

“In a competitive and ever-changing global tourism landscape, which faces significant challenges such as sustainability and the carrying capacity of destinations, Gen AI must play a key role in transforming and optimising tourism management. AILA was created with this vision to accelerate advanced analytics capabilities for tourism,” Camps adds.
