Sales guide aims to support the Indian travel trade by providing a detailed overview of Los Angeles’ tourism offerings

Los Angeles Tourism has launched its first-ever India Sales Guide Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) 2025, one of India’s leading travel trade exhibitions, that opened in Mumbai on Thursday.

In a press statement, the tourism board says that the comprehensive resource aims to enhance connections within the travel trade, showcasing Los Angeles as a prime destination for both leisure and sports tourism, especially ahead of major global events.

The statement adds that the guide aims to support the Indian travel trade by providing a detailed overview of Los Angeles’ tourism offerings.

It adds that the board’s participation aligns with the city’s preparations for major global sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup in 2026, the Super Bowl in 2027, and the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2028.

The statement adds that at OTM, Los Angeles Tourism is highlighting its position as a key destination for sports tourism while showcasing leisure experiences such as studio tours, beaches, and outdoor activities.

“We are excited to showcase the city’s diverse offerings at OTM, especially as we launch our India Sales Guide. This marks the beginning of an unforgettable decade of sports, and we invite travellers from India and beyond to experience the excitement of Los Angeles in the years to come,” says Seema Kadam, Regional Director-India, Los Angeles Tourism Board.
