With 95 pc of its exhibition space already booked, ITB Berlin 2025 is set to highlight a thriving global travel industry. Taking place from March 4-6, the event will feature a record number of exhibitors from 165 countries and growth in key sectors like cruising and technology.

In a press statement, ITB says that this year’s event will highlight strong growth in key travel segments, including the cruise industry, Southern Europe, Asia and Africa, as well as a surge in travel technology.

It adds that the cruise sector has seen significant demand, with companies like AIDA, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean Cruises expanding their presence.

The statement adds that the travel technology segment is also growing, covering six halls and includes new players in AI-driven software solutions.

It adds that Albania, this year’s host country, will present its “All Senses” experience in Halls 3.1 and 4.1.

It further adds that other notable exhibitors include traditional participants such as Trenitalia, Panama, and Hamburg, along with newcomers like Djibouti and Visa.

The organisers says that the exhibition will also feature a broader representation from the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia and Egypt showcasing large stands.

It adds that the exhibitors from across the globe are increasing their displays, including a larger presence from countries like Italy, Spain, and the United States.

It further adds that the Thailand will dominate hall 26b with a large representation, while Central Asia will make its debut at the show, with Uzbekistan hosting a major stand.

The statement says that in addition to traditional destinations, ITB Berlin 2025 will highlight new event formats, such as ITB Transition Labs and the ITB Travel & Tourism Report.

It adds that the ITB Berlin Convention will address global tourism challenges and opportunities, with insights from leading industry figures from companies like Expedia, Google and Booking.com.

It further adds that the ITB Buyers Circle will see expanded participation, offering members access to exclusive networking events. For the first time, ITB Berlin will host a range of new activities, including Guided Tours of key segments, a larger LGBTQ+ Tourism display and a new Talent Hub focused on young professionals.
