The Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) has a new President as Himanshu Kesari Patil of Kesari Tours and Travels, a leading tour operator based in Mumbai, was elected to the position in the elections for the 2024-2026 term that were held today in New Delhi.

In a press statement, OTOAI says that the elections marked a pivotal moment in the association’s journey. It adds that with the election process now over, it is ready to usher in a new chapter under a dynamic leadership team committed to innovation and growth in the outbound tourism sector.

OTOAI says that besides Patil, the newly elected leadership team for the 2024-2026 term, includes Shravan Bhalla, of High Flyer, as Vice President, Sidharth Khanna, of Khanna Enterprises, as General Secretary, Monia Kapoor, of Travel O Holidays, as Joint Secretary, Gurdeep Singh Gujral, of Gujral Tours and Travels, as Treasurer.

It adds that this team is poised to lead the association with vision and innovation, focusing on advancing the interests of outbound tourism in India.

It adds that the new team will assume responsibilities on December 6, focusing on innovation, collaboration, and member engagement to advance OTOAI’s interests and promote outbound tourism nationally and internationally.

The statement adds that the election process was conducted with complete fairness and transparency under the guidance of Sanjay Datta, Managing Director of Airborne Holiday, who served as the Election Officer. His expertise ensured smooth proceedings and a successful outcome.

It adds that to strengthen the governance structure, the Executive Committee (EC) includes both retained and nominated members, ensuring diversity and capability. The EC for 2024-2026 comprises Riaz Munshi, of Chirag Travels who was also Past President of OTOAI, Adl Abdul Karim of Flycreative Online, Ankush Nijhawan of TBO, Rohit Shorey of Destination Travel Services, Vineet Gopal of Engee Holidays and Vinayak Laud of Vinaayak Holidays.
