Celebrating diversity and inclusivity, FITUR LGBT+ 2025, as part of FITUR2025, that gets underway today at IFEMA Madrid in Spain, will bring together global leaders and professionals to explore new trends and strategies in tourism. The event will highlight initiatives and offer engaging performances, with a focus on fostering accessibility.

In a press statement, the organisers of FITUR say that the event gathers global leaders, industry professionals, and travellers to showcase innovative destinations, cultural experiences, and initiatives that promote equality, acceptance and a more inclusive tourism sector.

It adds that the event will showcase global trends, success stories, and strategies under the theme Diversity in Every Destination.

It further adds that this year’s edition, in collaboration with JN Global Project, features an expanded agenda of conferences, networking events, and cultural showcases in Hall 9.

According to the organisers, the event will include discussions on destinations like Torremolinos, known as a pioneer in LGBTQ+ tourism, and new initiatives such as Miami LGBTQ+ and Melilla LGTBIQ+.

It adds that the event also recognises leaders like Torremolinos with the FITUR LGBT+ 2025 Award.

The statement adds that the weekend will feature performances, including drag shows, live music, and fashion parades with notable performances by Libertad Montero, Roser from Gandía Pride and Lara Sajen.
