Fitur 2026, the leading international tourism trade fair, will take place at Ifema Madrid with a bold focus on technology-driven transformation.

In a press statement, the organisers say that from January 21-25, 2026, the 46th edition of the event will introduce the Knowledge Hub, a dynamic new space in Hall 12 dedicated to the future of tourism innovation.

The statement adds that the Knowledge Hub, strategically located at the southeast entrance of the venue, is set to become the beating heart of travel technology at Fitur. With the travel technology area expanding by more than 35 pc over last year, Hall 12 now hosts over 100 pioneering companies from 20 countries.

The organisers say that industry giants such as Amadeus, Travelgate, BeonX, Duetto, Ratehawk and Mirai are among the key exhibitors, highlighting the sector’s rapid digital evolution.

According to the statement, throughout the professional days, January 21, 22 and 23, international experts will convene for hundreds of sessions, exchanging insights and best practices that are shaping the industry’s future. The Knowledge Hub is also the venue for Fitur TechY, organised in partnership with the Spanish Hotel Technology Institute (ITH), further reinforcing Fitur’s commitment to knowledge sharing and technological advancement.

The statement adds that in addition to its technological focus, the Knowledge Hub centralises the most topical content from Fitur know-how and export, Fitur sports, Fitur talent and the FITURNEXT Sustainability Observatory, enhancing the fair’s congress offering.

The organisers say that this year, Fitur spans nine halls, showcasing the full spectrum of the tourism value chain. From the Americas in Hall 3 to Europe and Fitur Cruises in Hall 4 and from Asia-Pacific in Hall 8 to Spain’s regions in Halls 5, 7 and 9, the event brings together public and private sector leaders, agencies, operators and innovators.
