In a bid to cater to an anticipated demand of about 90 million outbound visitors from India by 2040, visa services firm DU Digital Global has opened a new visa centre in Mumbai, capable processing over 2,000 daily applications and will focus on Thai visas.

DU Digital Global,  a visa processing and immigration services firm, has opened a new Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Mumbai to address the surge in travel demand from India.

According to a press statement by DU Digital, the new centre in Lower Parel in central Mumbai is equipped with cutting-edge technology that can process over 2,000 visa applications daily, focusing on facilitating travel to Thailand.

The statement adds that the centre spans about 185 sqm and will streamline visa applications while significantly contributing to the local economy. 

Projections show that outbound travel from India is expected to reach 90 million by 2040, making this centre crucial in supporting that growth.

The statement adds that the visa centre was inaugurated by Nattasuda Mettaprasert, Deputy Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai and Isada Saovaros, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Mumbai.

On the occasion, Manoj Dharmani, CEO, DU Digital Global, emphasised the importance of the new centre. “Our new visa application centre will play a vital role in meeting the increasing demand for visa and consular services in the region. We are committed to providing efficient and hassle-free services to our applicants. As we scale operations in Mumbai, we welcome feedback and suggestions to help us continuously improve,” said Dharmani.

The centre also offers a five-year multiple-entry Thailand visa and a premium lounge for travellers seeking personalised service.

The statement adds that with the opening of this new centre, DU Digital Global continues to expand its services in metropolitan areas, aiming to make visa processing more convenient and secure while ensuring data protection through advanced encryption systems.
