Disney Adventure is scheduled to arrive in Singapore in 2025, expanding Disney’s presence in the Asian cruise market
Disney Cruise Line, part of the global media and entertainment giant Disney, has revealed the stern characters for its newest ship, the Disney Adventure, featuring Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse. The ship is the latest addition to Disney’s fleet and continues the company’s practice of featuring iconic characters on its vessels, combining its brand with cruise travel.
In a press statement, Disney Cruise Line says that the announcement of stern characters marks a milestone for the fleet’s first ship set to be based in Singapore.
It adds that the stern character, a signature feature of Disney cruise ships, is positioned at the aft and serves as a visual representation of the vessel’s theme.
The statement adds that the Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie sculptures stand over 4 metres tall and will be visible to guests boarding or departing the ship.
