Bintan Resorts successfully completed a series of trade engagements focused on strengthening ties with key travel agents and tour operators, across major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore, in collaboration with VFS Global.

Bintan Resorts, an integrated resort destination in Indonesia, says it has completed a series of successful trade engagements in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore in association with VFS Global, a visa services firm.

In a press statement, the hotel group says that the events, featuring luncheons and destination workshops aimed to reinforce Bintan’s commitment to the Indian market by fostering relationships with key B2B travel agents and tour operators.

“India has always been a key market for Southeast Asia. Through this collaboration, we aim to enhance travel opportunities and ensure a smooth, memorable experience for Indian tourists,” says GB Srithar, Head of Tourism Services, VFS Global.

The statement adds that with easy connectivity via Singapore, Bintan is a perfect getaway for Indian travellers, offering pristine beaches, adventure activities, and luxurious resorts.

“India represents immense potential for Bintan, given the rising interest among Indian travellers for unique and experiential destinations. By engaging with key B2B stakeholders, we are confident of building stronger connections and opening new avenues for tourism growth between India and Bintan,” says Pak Wahab, Chief operating office, Bintan Resorts.

Additionally, the newly revised Indonesian visa norms further encourage the destination’s add on any Singapore itinerary, it adds.
