Bahrain to host F1 pre-season testing & Grand Prix in 2025

Bahrain Grand Prix will return to the Bahrain International Circuit from April 10-13, 2025

Motorsports fans can enjoy live action twice next year in Bahrain as the country will host both the Bahrain Grand Prix and F1 pre-season testing in 2025, becoming a key venue for Formula 1 events and offering fans unique experiences.

In a move set to thrill motorsport enthusiasts, Bahrain is poised to become the epicentre of the Formula 1 world in 2025. The country will host both the highly anticipated Bahrain Grand Prix and the F1 pre-season testing offering fans an action-packed lineup of events at the Bahrain International Circuit.

In a press statement, the organisers says that the Bahrain Grand Prix will return to the Bahrain International Circuit from April 10-13, 2025, featuring a night race and intense on-track battles. But before that, from February 26-28, Bahrain will also host F1 pre-season testing for the fifth consecutive year, bringing together all 10 teams and offering fans a first look at the 2025 race cars.

Organisers says that Bahrain International Circuit will offer more than racing, including fan zones for interaction with teams, competitions, and live entertainment, as well as cultural experiences featuring traditional music, dance and local cuisine.

It adds that they will offer hospitality packages with VIP lounge access, dining, and meet-and-greets with F1 personalities, along with family zones featuring simulators, games, and racing science exhibits for children.

The statement adds that tickets for the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix are on sale with early bird discounts of up to 10 pc until December 7, including free access to pre-season testing.

It adds that visitors can explore off-road activities in the Sakhir and Buri deserts, including sandboarding, ATV rides and desert driving.

“After three consecutive years of sold-out races, Formula 1 has never been so popular in Bahrain. We have witnessed huge growth from international motorsport enthusiasts coming to Bahrain for the racing spectacle, with 2024 representing a record year for travelling fans. We are already well underway for planning our 2025 race, where guests can expect a unique combination of spectacular racing and entertainment, with traditional Bahrain hospitality. We look forward to welcoming fans next year to The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East,” says Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive, Bahrain International Circuit.
