ATM 2025 will feature over 2,600 exhibitors from 161 destinations and attract more than 47,000 attendees
With global tourism reaching new highs and Asia and the Middle East powering the growth of the global tourism industry, the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), a leading travel and tourism industry event, is set to return from April 28 to May 1, at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai.
In a press statement, the organisers say that this year’s edition promises a robust international presence, reflecting the ongoing recovery and rising demand in global tourism and participation from key regions, including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the Americas, highlights the event’s growing influence.
The statement says that under the theme Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity, ATM 2025 will feature over 2,600 exhibitors from 161 destinations and attract more than 47,000 attendees and key highlights will include sessions on emerging markets such as Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Latin America (LATAM), alongside insights into India’s booming tourism sector.
ATM says that according to UN Tourism’s World Tourism Barometer, international tourist arrivals reached 1.4 billion in 2024, an 11 pc increase from the previous year, while Middle East emerged as a standout performer, with arrivals surpassing pre-pandemic levels by 32 pc.
According to the statement, Asia leads growth at ATM 2025, with a projected 27 pc increase in exhibitors, driven by enhanced connectivity and stronger international ties.
The statement adds that notable contributors include Japan, India, South Korea, and Thailand and India alone is set to achieve a large growth of 41 pc in participation, with a significant representation from its Ministry of Tourism and regional boards like Rajasthan Tourism and Goa.
ATM adds that the Middle East continues to expand its footprint at ATM with a 17 pc rise in exhibitors, while Saudi Arabia will showcase its ambitious giga-projects and private sector innovations. The statement says that Europe maintains steady growth at 12 pc, while exhibitor numbers from Africa and the Americas remain consistent with last year.
