Africa Travel Indaba, Africa’s leading travel trade show preceded by a dedicated Business Opportunity Networking Day (BONDay) is all set to begin on May 12.

According to a press statement, BONDay sets the tone for the week ahead with a programme that blends strategic dialogue, future-forward thinking and impactful networking, hosted by South African Tourism.

“BONDay is where Africa’s tourism thinkers meet its doers. It is a place to connect, collaborate and co-create the future of tourism on our continent,” says Darryl Erasmus, Chief Operating Officer, South African Tourism.
The statement adds that the networking event helps tourism businesses handle challenges in a changing global market, supports growth through partnerships, links small businesses and entrepreneurs to global ideas and opportunities, and highlights African talent and innovation through expert discussions.
The programme highlights include the BONDay Opening Plenary – Mother Africa Earth / Umhlaba, a session on strengthening Africa’s image through authentic experiences, and another on using advanced technology and sustainable innovation in African tourism.
