Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, will host several high-profile events in 2025, including the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit and the NBA Abu Dhabi Games, featuring exciting matchups and access to the NBA District.

In a press statement, Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) says that Abu Dhabi is set to host the thrilling World Surf League Championship Tour from February 14-16, 2025. Held at the world’s largest wave pool, this event will bring together top surfers from around the globe, competing in an adrenaline-pumping showdown with the cityscape as a backdrop.
It adds that for Indian travellers in 2025, Abu Dhabi has curated a lineup of events, including entertainment, sports, arts, culture, amusement parks, and more.
DCT Abu Dhabi says that the Emirate will offer a range of attractions for families and thrill-seekers, including popular theme parks like Warner Bros World and Ferrari World, featuring exciting rides and immersive experiences.
It adds that Abu Dhabi will also offers the United Arab Emirates (UAE) first Michelin-starred Emirati restaurant, Erth, located in the Al Hosn district, known for its Margooga Ravioli.
The statement adds that visitors can also explore the Saadiyat Cultural District, home to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and soon the Guggenheim and Zayed National Museums. They can also visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, enjoy Saadiyat Nights concerts, and indulge in Emirati cuisine at Al Dhafra Restaurant and Luqaimat & Chebab.
