A global meeting place for travel technology leaders, TravelTech Show reveals enthusiasm for investing in next gen web 3.0.

TravelTech Show, that is set to take place at ExCel Centre in London on June 29 and 30, will bring together hundreds of senior travel and tourism technology specialists and over 50 exhibitors for a high-level, in-person networking and premium conference agenda.

According to the results of a poll by TravelTech Show, 74 pc of industry professionals attending the event will invest in Web 3.0 as a marketing tool. Only 3 pc say they wouldn’t, while the rest remain undecided. The survey also revealed 36 pc were interested in AI specifically and particularly in its factor in terms of how it can help sell travel while 14 pc were keen to investigate the metaverse’s potential to promote their brands.

“There’s been a lot of chat about Web 3.0 and how it’s going to change the way brands reach consumers, especially with the potential for AI and machine learning to provide hyper-personalised content and for the Metaverse to reach a younger, more digital-savvy audience. At TravelTech Show, visitors will find tech at the forefront of this revolution; tech that is designed to help them create massively improved customer experiences that will increase loyalty, yield and revenue,” says Ryan Taylor, event manager, Northstar Travel Group.

Facebook-owner Meta is also expected to broach the subject of Web 3.0 during the keynote address at TravelTech Show, taking place in a little under three weeks’ time. In the address, Meta and Travel: The future for Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and VR, Karlijn Vogel-Meijer, Head of Industry at Meta, will talk about the role of WhatsApp in the pandemic, the new world of virtual reality and travel marketing on Instagram and Facebook.

The registration for TravelTech show is now open with free tickets available to qualified travel technology decision-makers from the retail/corporate travel, tourism and hospitality sectors. This year, the event is co-located with Business Travel Show Europe and The Meetings Show.
