World’s largest Courtyard hotel to be set up at Makkah in Saudi Arabia

Marriott Makkah Al Naseem will open for clients in 2026, with 2,179 rooms, spread in seven interconnected towers

American hospitality company Marriott International has recently signed an agreement with Bin Dawood Trading’s subsidiary Al Qimmah Hospitality Company to establish the world’s largest Marriott Courtyard hotel in the holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia.

In a bid to support Saudi Arabia’s 2030 framework, which aims to position the country as a global hub for religious and cultural tourism and host 80 million tourists, Al Qimmah Hospitality, in partnership with Amwaj Real Estate, has signed an agreement with Marriott International to build the world’s largest Courtyard hotel in Makkah.

In a press statement, Marriott International says that Marriott Makkah Al Naseem will open for clients in 2026, with 2,179 rooms, spread in seven interconnected towers.

Marriott International says that the hotel will also have a restaurajnt with a capacity to accommodate over 1,800 clients as well as a lobby lounge that includes the brand’s signature Grab n’ Go market.
