Eshott Hall is ideal for organising destination weddings or anniversaries in unique rural Victorian backdrop
Indian tourists seeking wilderness experiences in a Victorian setting in rural England now have another option to explore as boutique hospitality operator Wildhive Collection announces the acquisition of a 17th century manor in northern fringes of England, close to the Scottish border.
In a press statement, Wildhive Collection says that it has acquired Eshott Hall in Northumberland, about 500 km from London, close to the North Sea coast.
The hospitality company says that the historic 17th-century manor in the quaint village of Eshott will be its greatly anticipated second site. It says it has acquired Eshott Hall from the Robert Parker Collection, but the hotel will run as a going concern until late 2025, when it will transition to a Wildhive hotel.
Eshott Hall also provides several unique settings for organising weddings
Eshott Hall has been positioned as an ideal location for organising destination weddings, familial celebration, anniversaries as well as compact corporate team building meetings in a unique setting. The property offers a variety of accommodations including cottages, double rooms as well as apartments for families to stay together.

The statement adds that Wildhive Collection plans to fully refurbish the main house and create experiential accommodation in the wild, much like its first property, Wildhive Callow Hall.
“We have spent a long time looking for our second site, wanting somewhere that fits our long-term vision for the Wildhive Collection and we are really excited about the possibilities at Eshott Hall. There is already a strong team in place at the hotel that we look forward to nurturing, and we are excited to work with the brilliant team at Visit North East England to bring more people to this fantastic part of the country,” says Ed Burrows, Co-Founder, Wildhive Collection.
“We are very excited to announce our second acquisition in the stunning county of Northumberland. This move aligns with our long-term strategy and company vision to provide out-of-the-ordinary guest experiences in destinations that celebrate heritage, culture, and natural beauty, and we are looking forward to giving guests a warm Wildhive welcome,” says Charles Randall, Co-Founder.

The statement adds that Eshott Hall’s location between Alnwick and Morpeth makes it the perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside and coastline, including the beautiful Northumberland Coastal Path, nearby Farne Islands with its abundant wildlife, as well as the spectacular castles of Bamburgh and Alnwick.
The statement adds that the other property of the group, Wildhive Callow Hall is in a similar setting, tucked away in 35 acres of picturesque gardens, wild meadows, and woodlands. It says that the charming Victorian country house is perfectly positioned at the gateway to the Peak District.
