The Festive Season marks a special occasion to be celebrated with the entire family and it is with this objective that The Residence by Cenizaro has mounted a campaign to attract families to spend their favourite vacations at its resorts that offer fun and frolic for the entire family, catering to the needs of the adults and the children alike.

According to a press statement, compared to the 90s, family vacations are now a sensory experience for each member, be parents or kids. Thanks to interesting itineraries tailored by hospitality brands such as The Residence by Cenizaro, there is something for everyone.

The statement adds that family holidays at the Residence resorts in Maldives and Mauritius are special as besides the idyllic setting, they offer numerous options to keep adults and children entertained. It says that young parents can enjoy some me-time as the kids enjoy a fun-filled day under the watchful eyes of trained caretakers. For a family of teens and large families, there are engaging activities to ensure lesser screen time and more memories.

Kids Club

The Residence Mauritius has the Planters Kids Club, which is open from 9 am to 10 pm

Both properties of the hospitality group in Maldives, Dhigurah and Falhumaafushi, have Kids Club to keep the children engaged all day-long. Perfect for kids between 3 and 12 years of age, the Turtle Kids Club that stays open from 9 am to 6 pm, offers a wide array of activities. The highly-trained Kids Club team engage kids with treasure hunting, arts and craft sessions, Dhivehi language practice, and cooking classes. Indoor, as well as beach games, are also arranged for them. With at least five, one-hour-long activities available every day of the week, children can spend time doing what they love while making new friends, it says, adding that the resorts also offer paid babysitting services on request.

To make its youngest clients’ vacation a time of endless fun and adventure, The Residence Mauritius has the Planters Kids Club, which is open from 9 am to 10 pm. Children from 3 to 12 years of age can play at the Club and the surrounding gardens. An experienced team of professionals supervises a wide choice of activities that include treasure hunts, snorkelling classes, sports competitions, body painting, the Internet, hikes and picnics, glass-bottom boat tours, theme days, pony rides, and much more. The Club also hosts evening entertainment, fashion shows, plays and films, and storytelling activities for little guests.

Family Concierge

The statement adds that at the Residence Mauritius, itineraries can be curated to keep families entertained, adults, and kids alike. The Family Concierge assists the holidaying family with yoga classes for kids, trips to UNESCO World Heritage Site, mini massages at the spa as well as late-night babysitting.

While the kids are being taken care of, parents can indulge their senses at the Spa by Clarins or go for a game of golf. There are bars and a poolside lounge that serve innovative cocktails and high tea accompanied by live music.

Adventure in the Ocean

The company says that perfect beachfront locations make the Residence by Cenizaro properties sought-after for families looking for water-based adventure. One can discover the underwater world, ride the waves or go on leisurely boat rides, there are activities for the whole family.

In Maldives, the trainers at the PADI Diving Centre hold a variety of classes and excursions for novices and experienced divers. They can choose to snorkel in nearby reefs or go for an advanced PADI dive, both confine water and open water, to get up and close with the marine world such as hundreds of fish species, coral, sharks, bottlenose dolphins, green turtles, manta and eagle rays. There is an option for night snorkelling and fluorescence night diving too.

Apart from the house reef of the resorts, they can also sail in a traditional Maldivian boat to other nearby dive sites such as Vilingili Kandu, Ekkala Thila, and Nilandu Kandu. A family of photography enthusiasts can take a lesson in underwater digital photography. Apart from these, families can book adrenaline-pumping activities too such as jet skiing, windsurfing, parasailing, knee boarding, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding. Alternatively, one can go on deep-sea fishing trips, sunset dolphin cruise, or visits other islands and local villages around the resorts, says the statement.

In Mauritius, families can discover the marine world at Belle Mare lies La Passe, a top dive site. They can also book water sports activities or snorkelling safari on the island of Ile aux Cerfs. The Waterpark Leisure Village at the resort has giant water slides, chutes, and wave pools for family fun.

The statement says that family holidays should not fall short when it comes to dining as the properties goes beyond the run-of-the-mill buffet meals and they offer a wide variety of dining options which serve World, Asian, and Indian Ocean cuisines along with a children’s menu. They also have several bars for the adults to enjoy a sip or two while indulging in their favourite activities.

The statement says that chefs at all these resorts also conduct culinary classes where families can have a fun time cooking and eating together. One can also take the Earth Basket tour to learn about farming. After herbs-infused beverage tasting session and a walk in the plant nursery and garden, one can pick fresh produce that can be used to prepare a delicious meal for their family.
