St. Regis Hotels & Resorts announced that it is set to unveil St Regis Le Morne Resort, Mauritius on May 6.

“The evolution of St Regis Le Morne Resort, Mauritius reflects the brand’s dedication to elevating the world’s most exclusive destinations and our commitment to the growth of St Regis resort portfolio,” says Helen Leighton, Vice President, Luxury Brands, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“Joining St Regis Hotels & Resorts will allow guests to embrace the resort’s timeless glamour through St Regis hallmarks of personalised service and signature rituals. We look forward to ushering in this new chapter,” she adds.

According to the statement, as part of a rebrand from JW Marriott Mauritius Resort, the all-suite property has undergone enhancements including the signature Le Manoir restaurant.

The hospitality firm adds that later this year, the resort’s ocean front villa will reopen as St Regis Grand Beachfront Villa. The 1,659 sq m villa will be one of the largest in the Indian Ocean accommodating up to 16 persons with direct access to the beach and features four guestrooms each with their own deck, indoor and outdoor living spaces, three plunge pools and an infinity pool.

According to the statement, St Regis Le Morne Pirogue, a renovated traditional Mauritian boat, will set sail offering family fishing trips, private excursions of the lagoon and romantic sunset cruises, complete with refreshments, later this year.
