Mount Lavinia Hotel, a leading hotel in Sri Lankan capital Colombo, has partnered with Nijhawan Group to boost its presence in India. The collaboration aims to attract more Indian tourists by leveraging Nijhawan's sales, marketing and PR expertise to promote the hotel's leisure, MICE, and wedding offerings.

Mount Lavinia Hotel, a heritage hotel in Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka, has appointed Nijhawan Group, a representation company in India, as its official Sales, Marketing and PR Representative in India.

According to a press statement, the partnership is a strategic move to increase Mount Lavinia’s visibility in the Indian market and boost business in the leisure, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) and wedding sectors.

“We are excited to partner with Nijhawan Group to expand our footprint in India. Their expertise in trade relations, wedding industry and public relations makes them the perfect partner to showcase Mount Lavinia’s rich heritage and premium offerings to Indian travellers,” says Saakya Ukwatte, Managing Director, Mount Lavinia Hotel.

The statement adds the collaboration with Nijhawan Group seeks to improve trade relations, increase MICE partnerships and strengthen Mount Lavinia’s brand through focused marketing efforts.

The hotel officials say that Nijhawan Group will be responsible for driving trade, MICE and destination wedding engagement, media relations and customised marketing campaigns to promote Mount Lavinia Hotel.
