Dubai-based luxury hospitality group Madinat Jumeirah has appointed Neil Shah as Associate Director of Sales to oversee various international markets, including India.

Madinat Jumeirah, a luxury hospitality group in Dubai, has announced the appointment of tourism industry veteran Neil Shah as its Associate Director of Sales, with responsibility for developing various markets around the world.

In a press statement, Madinat Jumeirah says that in his new role Shah will be overseeing the regions of India, Africa, the GCC, Asia, China, and the Americas.

Madinat Jumeirah is a well-known hospitality group in Dubai, that features four hotels, namely Al Qasr, Mina A’Salam, Al Naseem and Dar Al Masyaf, as well as a traditional Arabian souk, spa, and over 50 restaurants and bars, all set against 2 km of private beach.

According to the statement, Shah brings over 15 years of sales expertise, with 11 years dedicated to the hospitality and tourism industry. His career includes managing and developing key markets such as the Indian subcontinent, Africa, Asia, and Israel. 

The statement adds that Shah has a proven track record in growing and maintaining the share of inbound sales from his assigned account base, especially within the UAE.

Before joining Madinat Jumeirah, Shah held significant roles at various leading international brands. It adds that Shah’s appointment marks a new chapter in Madinat Jumeirah’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences and maintaining its position as a leader in the luxury hospitality sector.

The hotel group says that in his new role, Shah will lead a dedicated sales team to further promote Madinat Jumeirah’s luxurious offerings. 

The statement adds that the resort, known for its traditional Arabic architecture, premium accommodations, and world-class amenities, will benefit greatly from Shah’s expertise in driving international leisure sales across diverse markets.
