The 5-star hotel has 120 fully accessible rooms to make a camel’s stay a comfortable experience. Services are not limited to ensuring clean stables or providing a roof but also include preparing nutritious meals, cleaning, rubbing and offering round-the-clock attention and protection to these camels in their facility. Camel owners or riders can check-in without a worry as everything is available and taken care of by the 50 caretakers employed, especially for the camel’s grooming service. The tariff of the hotel is about USD 100 per night.

The special guests at the hotel are pampered during the King Abdul Aziz Camel Festival, the world’s largest camel festival, that is currently ongoing near the Saudi capital, Riyadh, which hosts the largest festival of its kind in the world. The festival specialises in camels and their beauty, bringing together leading owners of camels from Saudi Arabia, other Gulf and Arab countries, and some participants from countries around the world, such as the United States of America, Russia and France.

Around 100,000 people including tourists from around the world visit the festival on an average daily basis. The festival features a wide variety of entertainment and cultural shows that make it a global carnival. The activities of the festival also include poetry evening, theater shows, concerts and entertainment shows that cater to people from all age groups. There are numerous prizes and awards, both for the animals and the humans and this year the total prize money exceeds USD 66 million.
