Kempinski Hotels, a European luxury hospitality firm, has announced the opening of Kempinski Hotel & Resort Sariya Yanbu Red Sea, expanding its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a press statement, Kempinski Hotels says that the property is its second hotel in Saudi Arabia and aims to introduce a new level of luxury and personalised service to Yanbu, also known as the ‘Pearl of the Red Sea’.

The statement adds that the hotel, located on Al Mahar Island within the Royal Commission, boasts exceptional panoramic views of the Red Sea, alongside exclusive access to its pristine beaches.

It says that the resort has 118 rooms and suites, with many offering views of either a lagoon or the expansive waters of the Red Sea. The sophisticated design extends to a comprehensive range of facilities that cater to both business and leisure travellers, including a 1,302 sqm ballroom for grand events, weddings, and conferences, supported by four versatile breakout rooms designed for smaller meetings and business gatherings.

The statement adds that for a spot of leisure, guests can enjoy an infinity pool overlooking the Red Sea, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and a marina for other recreational activities. The hotel also comes with its own spa which features massage rooms, steam and sauna facilities and a relaxation lounge.

Offering modern comforts amidst a nature-rich landscape, the property aims to reflect Kempinski’s commitment to delivering European luxury infused with Arabian hospitality. The resort’s interior design, led by ara Design International, incorporates an opulent blend of marble, warm woods, shimmering metals, and plush velvet upholstery, enhanced by subtle Art Deco touches.

The hotel offers two dining venues. Ragheed, an all-day restaurant, presents a global culinary adventure featuring an array of international and local dishes, while Ghroub Lounge provides a relaxed ambiance with panoramic sea views, serving coffee, pastries, and light bites.

“The opening of Kempinski Hotel and Resort Sariya is a momentous occasion. This resort represents a new era of hospitality, offering guests an exquisite opportunity to experience the magic of the region. We are honoured to contribute to Yanbu’s growth as a premier destination while aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to highlight its natural beauty and cultural legacy on the world stage,” says Dirk Bansemer, General Manager.

Yanbu is known for its blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage, wherein visitors can explore vibrant local souks, discover ancient archaeological sites, or embark on adventurous desert excursions.
