Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt Gravenbruch to be rebranded as Hilton property

The 225-room property is situated within 10 hectares of grounds around a 15-minute drive to the southeast of Frankfurt city centre

The Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt Gravenbruch, which dates to as far back as 1586, is now set to be reflagged as Hilton Frankfurt Gravenbruch by October this year.

The Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt Gravenbruch, the five-star luxury hotel in Germany is set to leave the Kempinski’s portfolio after nearly 50 years at the end of this month, with the property being reflagged as the American multinational hospital chain Hilton hotel from October.

According to a press statement by Hilton, the 225-room property is situated within 10 hectares of grounds around a 15-minute drive to the southeast of Frankfurt city centre.

The statement adds that parts of the property date back as far as 1586, and it became a hunting lodge in the 1700s, before being expanded as a hotel in the mid 1950s. Kempinski took over the management of the property in 1976.

According to a press statement by Kempinski, ‘by mutual agreement with the property owners, Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt Gravenbruch will leave the Kempinski portfolio’ on September 30.

“Following this date, the hotel will continue under the same ownership and a new management. Your guest room reservation at the hotel will remain unchanged. The hotel team will look forward to welcoming you and will ensure that you enjoy a bespoke hospitality experience at this wonderful property,” the statement adds.

Hilton has also confirmed that the property will be rebranded as the Hilton Frankfurt Gravenbruch in October and will undergo renovation of all rooms and public areas in the coming months.

Features include indoor and outdoor pools, spa facilities, tennis courts, four restaurants, an executive lounge, and 18 meeting spaces including two ballrooms.

Hilton Frankfurt Gravenbruch will join the group’s existing hotels in the city including Hilton Frankfurt City Centre, Hilton Frankfurt Airport, DoubleTree by Hilton Frankfurt Niederrad, Hampton by Hilton Frankfurt City Centre East, Hampton by Hilton Frankfurt City Centre Messe, Hampton by Hilton Frankfurt Airport, Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt City Centre and Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt Airport.
