The new hotel is set to open in 2026
A significant step in the brand’s European expansion, IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of its first Vignette Collection property in France, this new addition strengthens IHG’s presence in the luxury market and furthers the growth of its Vignette Collection brand across Europe.
In a press statement, IHG says that the new hotel, located in Théoule sur Mer on the French Riviera, is set to open in 2026 and will join the growing portfolio of Vignette Collection hotels.
It adds that the property adds to an existing European presence of 10 open hotels including Verno House Budapest, Vignette Collection and Halyard Liverpool, Vignette Collection both of which opened last year.
It further adds that the property will be formed from the existing Tiara Miramar and Tiara Yaktsa hotels, both of which will retain their unique character and history while being rebranded under the Vignette Collection banner.
IHG says that the location, nestled against the Massif de l’Esterel, will offer views of the Mediterranean, with nearby activities including water sports and hiking trails.
It adds that on-site facilities will include multiple swimming pools, a gym, spa, and a bar, along with meeting and event spaces.
The statement adds that the Vignette Collection brand, launched in 2021, has rapidly expanded in Europe, with this new French property bringing the total number of hotels in the region to 10.
