Guests at both hotels will have access to shared facilities
British hospitality group InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), in partnership with Palm Holdings, is set to open a dual-branded hotel development in Waterloo in London, with both properties expected to open in the final quarter of 2028.
In a press statement, IHG says that the project will bring more than 350 rooms to the group’s London portfolio. The 182-room Voco London Waterloo will be part of IHG’s premium brand, while Hotel Indigo & Suites London, Waterloo will offer 172 rooms and suites under British hospitality’s luxury and lifestyle collection.

It adds that guests at both hotels will have access to shared facilities including restaurants, bars, cafés, a fitness centre, and a business centre.

As per statement, IHG says that the properties will be located across the road from the Imperial War Museum and within walking distance of the Southbank, London Eye, National Theatre and Waterloo Station.
The statement says that this development is targeting BREEAM Excellent certification. It will include air source heat pumps and solar panels, with no fossil fuel combustion on-site and energy operations supported by renewables.

As per statement, Voco brand currently operates 16 hotels in the UK, including Voco Zeal Exeter Science Park, voco Southampton, and Voco Fareham Solent. Hotel Indigo has 19 properties open in the UK, with upcoming launches including Hotel Indigo London, Clerkenwell and Hotel Indigo Leeds.
