Hospitality group IHG Hotels and Resorts (IHG) has announced the launch of its brand Voco at Bandung in Indonesia, set to open in 2025.

British multinational hospitality chain IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the debut of its Voco hotels brand at Bandung in Indonesia, following a signing agreement with PT Sun Land Investama and Nova Chandra. Slated to open in 2025.

In a press statement, IHG announced that the 162-room Voco Bandung Setiabudi will be located along Jalan Dr Setiabudi, a famous shopping street in the area.

It adds that the hotel will reflect Voco’s signature charm, inspired by its three hallmarks – ‘come on in,’ ‘me time,’ and ‘voco life,’ and will join a pipeline set to expand the brand to over 150 hotels globally.

IHG says that the new property will provide welcoming spaces for relaxation, featuring three dining outlets, nine meeting rooms spanning over 1,000 sqm, a health club, a kids club and a business centre.

It adds that IHG operates 27 hotels across seven brands in Indonesia, including the recent debut of Voco hotels in Bali, with 15 more in the pipeline.

“Together with PT Sun Land Investama and Ibu Nova Chandra, we are delighted to introduce Voco hotels to Bandung. As the fifth IHG hotel in Bandung, it will complement a well-rounded portfolio that includes InterContinental, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Hotel Indigo brands within the city,” says Chris Anklin, Senior Director, Development, South East Asia & Korea, IHG Hotels & Resorts.
