InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), a leading hospitality company, has announced the signing of three new hotels in Saudi Arabia in partnership with Ashaad, a Saudi real estate developer, during the Future Hospitality Summit Riyadh 2025.
In a press statement, the hospitality company says that the agreement marks a significant step in ongoing commitment of IHG to support the tourism ambitions and the broader objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The statement adds that the three properties, Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate, InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra and voco Al Khobar Al Andalus, are slated to open between 2028 and 2030, collectively adding over 1,700 rooms to expanding portfolio of IHG in the Saudi Arabia.

The hospitality company says that each hotel will operate under management agreements of IHG, further strengthening the group’s presence in key Saudi cities.
The statement adds that InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra, a 326-key luxury hotel adjacent to the upscale Al Shubaily Grand Mall, aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers in the dynamic eastern province.

Additionally, Voco Al Khobar Al Andalus, featuring 717 rooms, will bring Voco’s distinctive character and premium hospitality to the heart of Al Khobar and with its proximity to attractions such as the Corniche, the hotel is designed to serve the city’s growing business and leisure market.
The statement adds that Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate, with 700 rooms, will be part of a vibrant mixed-use development in southern Jeddah, close to the historic Al Balad District and Jeddah Central Development.
