According to the report, tier 1 companies dominate the hotel channel management market with industry giants such as Amadeus IT Group, Sabre Corporation, Expedia Group, Booking Holdings and Travelport Worldwide Limited collectively commanding USD 371.3 million, accounting for 50 pc of the global market share. Known for their extensive research and development investments, these companies innovate continuously to maintain market leadership.

Tier 2 firms like SiteMinder, RateGain, Cloudbeds, Pegasus Solutions, and eRevMax hold approximately 35 pc of the market, valued at USD 259.9 million. They differentiate themselves with niche market strategies and competitive pricing, focusing on customer-centric solutions.

Tier 3 players including Channel Manager, D-edge Hospitality Solutions, AxisRooms, Staah, and Cubilis contribute USD 111.4 million, representing 15 pc of the market. These companies specialise in specific markets, demonstrate agility in adapting to industry dynamics, and offer cost-effective solutions tailored for smaller hotels and accommodations.

Country-wise Insights

FMI says that in North America, particularly the United States, the hotel channel management market maintains a steady growth trajectory with a projected 3.9 pc CAGR through 2034. 

Major cities like New York and Las Vegas drive substantial demand for efficient channel management systems, supported by robust travel and tourism activities. Leading players such as SiteMinder play a crucial role by connecting hotels to a wide array of channels, enhancing online visibility and revenue management.

The report says that Europe, spearheaded by the United Kingdom, could see a 7.2 pc CAGR in the hotel channel management market. 

The UK’s popular tourist destinations contribute to high occupancy rates, prompting increased adoption of advanced solutions like Preno’s UK Channel Manager Software. 

This software facilitates comprehensive inventory management and online distribution across 54 prominent travel platforms, supporting the hospitality industry’s growth and competitiveness.

Asia Pacific, led by India, is also a vibrant hub in the hotel channel management market, forecasted to grow at a rapid 14.7 pc CAGR.
