Guests can have immersive experience with one-of-a-kind Pokémon Sleep Suite
Visitors to Japan in July this year can look forward to special packages and offers at Grand Hyatt Tokyo as the hotel celebrates a new partnership with Pokémon Sleep, which itself turns one this July.
According to a press statement by Japan National Tourism Organisation in New Delhi, Pokémon Sleep is a sleep tracker app that turns sleep into entertainment. It says that the app aims to offer a fun and enriching experience to trainers by having a player’s time spent sleeping, and the time they wake up, affect the gameplay.
The statement adds that Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s partnership with Pokémon Sleep focuses on memorable moments of wellness and rejuvenation. To celebrate the entertainment app’s first anniversary in July 2024, an extraordinary selection of Pokémon Sleep Stay packages, menus and original creations will be available across the hotel between July 1 and August 31. This underscores the hotel’s unwavering commitment to excellence in hospitality and its dedication to providing unparalleled guest experiences by innovations, says the statement by JNTO.
It adds that guests can have immersive experience with one-of-a-kind Pokémon Sleep Suite, glamping-style living space, Pokémon Sleep artwork, and in-room dining featuring menu items faithfully adapted from the app. Pokémon Sleep Stay packages are also available in 10 rooms per night, featuring Pokémon plushies, original amenities and an exclusive breakfast plan, says the hotel.
The highlight of this collaboration is a stay in the Chairman Suite, which has been transformed into a unique Pokémon Sleep Suite that recreates the world of Snorlax and friends. The hotel claims that a stay in the Pokémon Sleep Suite is an immersive adventure, with a living room design inspired by the woodland glades of the game’s Greengrass Isle. Guests can relax in glamping style surrounded by snoozing Pokémon Sleep Plushies or discover the Pokémon Sleep artwork installed throughout the 120 sqm suite.
The statement adds that when bedtime arrives, guests can enjoy all the luxuries of one of the hotel’s premium suites, as soft Frette bed linens and comfortable Simmons mattresses ease them into a deep, restorative night of sleep. The hotel also serves an in-room dining menu composed of dishes adapted from Pokémon Sleep, from “Lucky Chant” Apple Pie to electric blue Craft Soda Pop.
These are accompanied by original inventions from the hotel’s chefs, including a gourmet Snorlax Burger and a breakfast featuring Snorlax and Pikachu Pancakes.
