Accor, a Paris-based hospitality giant, has outlined its ambitions for 2025, with a string of openings of hotels under practically all of its 45 brands, with close to 100 new hotels expected to join the Accor family next year.

In a press statement, Accor says that across its spectrum of over 45 hospitality brands, ranging from luxury to economy and everything in between, it is giving travellers fresh inspiration to explore the world, from ultra-luxurious train journeys to seaside wellness retreats and stylish urban hotspots. It says that while the choices are diverse, each new offering shares Accor’s relentless commitment to sustainability and service excellence.

In the luxury train journeys, Accor says that its La Dolce Vita Orient Express is an opulent ‘slow travel’ experience, created by Accor and Arsenale S.p.A, the first Italian venture in luxury rail hospitality. With regional and thematic voyages through Italy’s breathtaking countryside, La Dolce Vita Orient Express celebrates the glamour, joie de vivre, and artistic fervour of Italian culture in the 1960s. Passengers will be treated to the culinary artistry of three Michelin-starred chef, Heinz Beck, whose innovative blend of tradition and modernity perfectly embody the essence of la dolce vita. Journeys begin in Spring 2025.

Orient Express La Minerva is a heritage hotel site set in the heart of Rome, Italy, and will be the brand’s very first hotel in the world. Offering 93 rooms and suites in the former Palazzo Fonseca, guests will discover a sumptuous 17th century palace, gloriously restored for modern comfort.

Some of its other properties in this category include Faena New York that is coming up in New York, located within One High Line’s East Tower. It will also bring online two Raffles Hotels, one each at Sentosa in Singapore and in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Also slated for opening through the next year are eight Fairmont properties, in locations as diverse as Prague, Tokyo, Costa del Sol in Spain, New Orleans, Bangkok, Hanoi, Dalian and Udaipur.

On the anvil are also a Sofitel at Liebian in China, two Banyan Tree resorts in Singapore and Tanzania as well as three McGallery Collection hotels in Albania, Biarritz in France and Phuket in Thailand. Accor says it will also open SLS hotels at Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, Playa Mujeres in Mexico and Barcelona in Spain.
