In 2024, over 200,000 Indian tourists visited the state, drawn by its diverse attractions and vibrant cultural offerings. Additionally, Indian visitor spending surged by 31 pc compared to 2023.

A standout moment in 2024 was the historic debut of the Pro Kabaddi League in Melbourne, held at John Cain Arena. The high-energy event captured global attention, with a broadcast reaching 14.2 million people across India.
