Lincoln Center, New York City's hub for global artistic and cultural performances, will host the 'India Week' from July 10-14 with a week-long extravaganza of events showcasing India’s music, dance, art and cuisine.

Lincoln Center in New York is poised to host a vibrant celebration of Indian culture at with ‘Summer for the City!’ event. 

According to a press statement by New York City Tourism + Conventions, visitors can experience a diverse array of free events or with a choose-what-you-pay option this week.

Comedy Underground | India Week

The Underground at Jaffe Drive

July 10 at 20:00  

Comedy performing arts nonprofit NYLaughs produces a free stand-up comedy showcase featuring up-and-coming NYC comedians. A variety of blues, hip-hop, folk and comedy acts take the stage at this classic venue.

Celebrating the beauty and vibrancy of Indian culture, India Week kicks off with Ragamala Dance Company’s Avimukta: Where the Seeker Meets the Sacred! In the work, seven dancers undertake rituals of sacred contemplation that become an ecstatic prayer celebrating the inevitable dissolution of life.
