The inaugural Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show (LHKIHS), a global equestrian event, is scheduled to be held from February 14 to 16, 2025, at AsiaWorld-Expo.

According to a press statement by the organisers, Clarion Events Asia, this event marks a new chapter for equestrian sports in Hong Kong.

The organisers say that LHKIHS is expected to become a flagship annual event in the city, bringing world-class equestrian competition and entertainment.

They say that Longines, the title sponsor, in partnership with HPower Group, the team behind the renowned London International Horse Show, and key partners such as the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Cathay Cargo and the Hong Kong Tourism Board are backing the event, which is set to be one of the most distinguished on the global equestrian calendar.

The three-day event will feature a variety of competitions, including 5-star international show jumping classes with HKD 6.5 million (USD 836,165) in prize money, thrilling equestrian displays and performances from notable figures like Spanish equestrian artist Santi Serra. The Shetland Pony Grand National will provide a unique and exciting spectacle for attendees.

The statement adds that visitors will also be treated to a diverse range of lifestyle entertainment, including a Luxury Lifestyle Shopping Village with over 100 shops, fine dining options and family-friendly activities like the Kids Zone.
