Global music icon Ed Sheeran is set to make history with his first-ever performance in Bhutan, bringing his ‘Mathematics (+–=÷x)’ tour to the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu on January 24, 2025.

Bhutan is set to host its first ever major international music concert after global singing sensation, Ed Sheeran announced his Mathematics (+–=÷x) Tour 2025 that features performances in Bhutan, followed by India and the Middle East, running from January to May 2025.

According to a press statement, the concert will be promoted by Gelephu Mindfulness City and AEG Presents by arrangement with One Fiinix Live. The show will take place on January 24, 2025 at the Changlimithang Stadium in the capital city.

Fans will get a chance to experience the soulful music of Sheeran in the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), which is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) spanning 2,600 sqkm and nestled between two nature reserves, GMC is envisioned as the greenest, cleanest and safest city globally, combining material and spiritual advantages by King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

The statement adds that the bookings for the same will open from November 30. The event is expected to attract global attention, providing an unprecedented platform to introduce Bhutan and its ethos to millions of fans and potential visitors worldwide.
