In order to showcase its unique blend of traditional and modern influences, Bahrain is all set to host numerous events and concerts in the upcoming months. A press statement by Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) says that the second Manama Gold Festival, a month-long celebration of Bahrain’s rich past and its close ties to gold, is now taking place in Bahrain. More than 300 gold businesses in Souq Al Manama are participating in the festival that began on April 13 and will conclude only on May 27. Visitors can enjoy the festival’s grand prizes, artistic installations about Bahraini gold history by Bahraini artists and designers, hanging festive elements between gold shops, organising a gold museum, a pop-up market, live music shows, and much more.
BTEA says that the music festival Bahrain Rocks 2023 returns even bigger and better than the previous years. The festival attracts music lovers from across the region and around the world, making it a must-attend event for anyone interested in the arts and culture of Bahrain. The two-day festival on April 27-28 will offer a wider range of bands, music genres, and fun-filled activities. Bahrain Rocks is renowned for supporting the local artists and music genres.
The statement adds Bahrain is set to host a number of music galas in the current year, with a beach party to enjoy the beautiful beachside atmosphere up for April 28. Legendary boy band Backstreet Boys is expected to perform live at the Al Dana Amphitheatre on May 9. For families travelling to the destination, there are iconic ballets scheduled in the month of May 2023 at the new Exhibition World Bahrain.
The Kingdom of Bahrain is also organising a lineup of some major ballet performances in the upcoming year, says BTEA. While the Jungle Book will debut through a ballet performance on May 5, Cinderella ballet is slated for May 6. In May, Bahrain will also host a performance of the Nutcracker ballet.
