Norwegian Sky's 14-night Asian itinerary began in Singapore and concludes in Doha, Qatar
Norwegian Sky, a recently refurbished ship of cruise operator Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) docked at Mumbai’s port today, for the first-time ever, as part of its Asian itinerary.
In a press statement, NCL says that this visit marks a key stop in the ship’s 14-night Asian itinerary, which began in Singapore and includes stops in Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, the UAE, and concludes in Doha, Qatar.
The statement adds that the Norwegian Sky, measuring about 258 m in length with a gross tonnage of 77,104, with a capacity for 2,004 passengers and 899 crew members.
NCL says that during its Mumbai stopover, passengers had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the city’s cultural heritage and they could explore iconic landmarks like the Gateway of India and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, as well as experience the markets and neighbourhoods that define Mumbai.

According to the statement NCL is currently offering promotions that make cruising more accessible to travellers from India and the Asia-Pacific region. These include discounts of up to 50 pc on all cruises and exclusive perks through its package deal, which includes benefits like unlimited open bar, onboard specialty dining, shore excursion credits, and Starlink Wi-Fi.
