Vietnam Airlines, the flag carrier of Vietnam, has launched direct flights between Hyderabad and Hanoi, operating thrice weekly. This new route enhances India-Vietnam connectivity, promotes tourism and strengthens business ties with modern travel options.

Vietnam Airlines, the flag carrier of Vietnam, has strengthened its presence in India by launching direct flights from Hyderabad to Hanoi, starting May 7.

In a press statement, the carrier says that this new route marks Hyderabad as the fourth Indian gateway of the airline, joining Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The statement adds that the inaugural flight from Hanoi to Hyderabad was celebrated with a traditional welcome and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

The flag carrier says that the Hyderabad–Hanoi service will operate three times a week-on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using Airbus A321 aircraft.

With this addition, Vietnam Airlines now offers six direct routes connecting four major Indian cities to Vietnam, catering to the growing demand for both business and leisure travel.
