Vietjet Thailand, a low-cost airline that is part of Vietjet group, has announced the launch of a daily direct flight between Mumbai and Bangkok in Thailand, that will begin December 23.
In a press statement, the budget carrier says that the new route aims to create a convenient travel option to explore Thailand’s capital and beyond, while opening greater opportunities for tourism, business, and cultural exchange between the two cities.
The statement adds that the service will operate between Mumbai and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport with a daily flight, VZ761, which will depart from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, at 00:45 and arrive in Bangkok at 06:25 the same day.
The return flight VZ760 will depart Bangkok at 20:45 and land in Mumbai at 23:50 the same day.
Vietjet Thailand says it presently operates 11 Thailand domestic routes, including flights from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Udon Thani, Hat Yai, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, and Surat Thani, cross-regional flights including from Phuket to Chiang Ma and Chiang Rai.
The statement adds that the airline is also actively expanding its international flight network to many destinations across Asia-Pacific, connecting Thailand with Vietnam, China, Singapore, Cambodia, Japan, Taipei and other top destinations in the region.
