Turkish Airlines set the record with flights to 120 countries, reflecting only the active routes of the past 12 months
Turkish Airlines which already held the title since 2012 was officially recognised by the Guinness World Records for “Most Countries Flown to by an Airline”. The record certificate was presented to the airlines at Santiago Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport following Turkish Airlines’ inaugural flight to Chile.
In a press statement, the airlines states that based on the evaluation criteria of Guinness World Records, it set the record with flights to 120 countries, reflecting only the active routes of the past 12 months.

The statement adds that including temporarily suspended routes and the inaugural flight to Chile, Turkish Airlines’ flight network currently spans 131 countries.
