THAI Smile introduces exclusive non-stop flights from India to Bangkok

THAI Smile continues to expand its new routes, reinforcing the leading full-service airline in the region with international aviation and service standards and seamlessly connect with the Thai Airways International. Recently, the Kolkata-Bangkok flight, CCU-BKK, has been launched by departing from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport, Kolkata, India to Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok, five flights per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) to strengthen the flights on the Indian routes, which are growing continuously.

Currently, THAI Smile operates in four destinations in India, including more than 19 flights per week, aiming to support the top-level target group of Indian passengers who desire to experience the superior comfort and the best service standard by new Airbus A320-200 aircraft and easily connect to other cities in Thailand. It also aims to open new perspectives for Thai passengers to visit interesting cities in India.

Kolkata – Bangkok route provides services to passengers in two classes: Smile Plus (Premium Economy) and Smile Class (Economy Class). Passengers will receive convenience from in-flight meal and beverage on board, free seat selection and free baggage allowance up to 40 kg and Royal Orchid Plus Mileage for the Smile Plus class. THAI Smile is also offering a special discount for round-trip tickets on the inauguration of the new route, Kolkata-Bangkok (CCU-BKK) starting at INR 9,100 / person/round – trip (all inclusive).

Other than Kolkata, Mumbai, Lucknow and Jaipur are the other three cities where THAI Smile is offering the same services. Jaipur route will be available from June 1st onwards. For passengers traveling from India to Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok, the travellers can also plan their trips to major cities and secondary cities throughout Thailand, which is rich in tourist attractions, nature, culture, sightseeing, the world’s top beautiful beaches, as well as many shopping areas, where THAI Smile is ready to connect them 10 destinations in Thailand including Chiang Mai, Phuket, Khon Kaen, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Surat Thani, Narathiwat and Krabi.

For international routes, THAI Smile also operates 17 international destinations to Yangon, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Changsha, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Kaohsiung, Bangkok – Hong Kong and Phuket – Hong Kong with a plan to further increase the flight frequency of domestic and launch new international routes.

THAI Smile Airways, a subsidiary airline of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), is a regional airline operator for short and medium range flights. The airline operates using “WE” as an airline code. The airline fleet consists of 20 aircraft in 2016 and operates using narrow-body fleet with operation bases located at Suvarnabhumi International Airport with more than 60 flights per day. And it has delivered overall services more than 16 million passengers from around the world.
