Saudi Arabian national carrier, Saudia, has announced an expansion of its global flight network, adding over 10 new destinations this year.
In a press statement, the airline says that the move follows a 16 pc increase in international passenger numbers carried by it last year.
Saudia says that the new routes will connect travellers to cultural and scenic locations across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

It adds that these additions will enhance Saudia’s existing network, which already spans more than 100 destinations across four continents.
“Following last year’s operational success, we have implemented a strategic plan for 2025 to ensure continued excellence and meet rising international travel demand. Our destination selection is based on comprehensive feasibility studies and guest preferences. We are committed to providing our international guests with exceptional travel experiences that combine comfort, efficiency and authentic Saudi hospitality,” says Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General, Saudia Group.
The statement also adds that Saudia operates a fleet of 147 Boeing and Airbus aircraft, known for their safety and efficiency and with over 530 daily flights, Saudia aims to increase its global market share and strengthen connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the world.
