In a significant move to enhance connectivity between Jordan and India, Royal Jordanian Airlines has announced the launch of two non-stop routes linking Amman with Mumbai and New Delhi. The new flights aim to strengthen ties, promote tourism, and provide seamless travel options, marking a key milestone in the airline’s expansion strategy.

In a press statement, Royal Jordanian Airlines says that the flights to Mumbai will begin on April 17, followed by New Delhi on September 17, with both routes operating four times a week.

It adds that the new routes align with Royal Jordanian’s strategy to position Jordan as a top tourism destination for India while enhancing connectivity to over 45 global destinations.

It further adds that Amman will serve as a gateway for Indian travellers to Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Royal Jordanian will also add 19 A320neo and Boeing 787 aircraft in 2025/26 as part of its expansion.

“The launch of our new routes to Mumbai and New Delhi marks a significant milestone in our strategy to promote Jordan as a tourism destination for the Indian market. Through these routes, we aim to showcase the unique experiences Jordan offers while positioning Royal Jordanian as a boutique airline that promotes Jordan as a boutique destination.
