Like other aviation companies, Lufthansa Group has also been facing shortage of personnel since Covid-19 outbreak
The Lufthansa Group, which is led by German flag carrier Lufthansa, says it has set itself the goal of recruiting around 10,000 personnel in a wide range of professions for the new year 2025.
In a press statement, the airline group says that it requires as many as 800 pilots, more than 2,000 flight attendants, more than 1,400 ground handling personnel and around 1,300 technical experts are to be recruited across the Group.
Lufthansa Technik is one of key focus areas for new hires
In addition, the group is also looking for around 1,200 employees for the administrative areas across the group. It adds that more than half of all recruitment is to take place in Germany.
The statement adds that over 2,000 employees are to start at Lufthansa Technik, while Austrian Airlines and Eurowings are each looking for around 700 employees.
