Aiming to boost connectivity, Indian low-cost airline Indigo is set to operate four weekly flights between Mumbai and the East African archipelago of Seychelles from March 22.

In a press statement, it says that this new route will significantly make this archipelago, which is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush tropical forests an accessible and affordable destination for Indian travellers. It offers the perfect escape for honeymooners, families and adventure-seekers alike.

It further adds that Seychelles is renowned for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. These islands boast some of the world’s most stunning landscapes, from pristine beaches to lush rainforests, where visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant Creole culture, shaped by African, French, and Indian influences, reflected in its festivals, music, and cuisine.
