IndiGo has introduced direct flights from Pune to Bangkok and Thiruvananthapuram, enhancing Pune’s status as a key travel hub. The services offer seamless travel for business and leisure travellers.

IndiGo, India’s largest airline and a leading low-cost carrier globally, has announced the launch of two direct flights connecting Pune in Maharashtra with Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, and Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. 

According to a press statement by IndiGo, this new expansion marks a significant milestone in its network and further strengthens Pune’s connectivity with both international and domestic destinations.

The Pune-Bangkok flight, which will be the city’s first-ever direct international service by IndiGo, is set to commence on November 22.

The statement adds that this route offers travellers, particularly families planning festive or winter vacations, a seamless and convenient option to explore the vibrant Thai capital. 

IndiGo says it will become the only airline offering direct services between Pune and Thiruvananthapuram with flights starting from October 27. 

Thiruvananthapuram, known for its serene coastal beauty and iconic landmarks, serves as a gateway to Kerala’s lush landscapes and tranquil beaches.

These announcements come on the heels of IndiGo’s recent efforts to bolster domestic connectivity from Pune, adding routes to Bhopal, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Indore, and Raipur. 

IndiGo says that with Bangkok offering a lively mix of modern skyscrapers, historic temples, and bustling street markets and Thiruvananthapuram providing a serene escape into nature and cultural history, these new routes cater to a variety of traveller preferences, from business to leisure.

It adds that this expansion underscores IndiGo’s commitment to providing affordable, timely, and convenient travel experiences, reinforcing its position as India’s preferred airline.
