Direct Flights to be effective from March 15
In a press statement, IndiGo, a low-cost carrier, has announced the launch of daily direct flights between Kochi, Kerala and Ras Al Khaimah, the northern emirate of the United Arab Emirates, effective March 15.
According to the statement, this new route underscores IndiGo’s commitment to expanding its international network and providing seamless connectivity for Indian travellers.

With the addition of these flights, IndiGo will now offer a total of 49 weekly direct flights between Kerala and the UAE, and over 250 weekly flights overall between India and the UAE. The airline says that Ras Al Khaimah offers a diverse range of activities, including hiking on Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest mountain, and experiencing the world’s longest zipline.
India’s leading low-cost carrier says this new flight route will not only enhance tourism but also facilitate business travel between the two regions and passengers can book their tickets via IndiGo’s official website or mobile app.
The statement adds that the introduction of these flights offers convenience and affordability to travellers seeking to explore the UAE’s hidden gems and with this expansion, IndiGo continues to strengthen its global network, providing travellers with more options for exploring international destinations.
