Collaboration will build on its existing market presence in Brazil: Eve
To support operations in Brazil and the United States of America, Eve Air Mobility, a subsidiary of Brazilian aerospace firm Embraer, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Washington DC-based Future Flight Global for the possible delivery of up to 54 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
In a press statement, Eve says that the LOI adds to its existing backlog, which includes agreements with global carriers, regional operators, and urban air mobility companies such as Future Flight Global.
It adds that Future Flight Global, plans to apply its operational experience to support the rollout of Eve’s aircraft in both markets.
Eve says that the collaboration will build on its existing market presence in Brazil and form part of a broader global deployment strategy.
The Brazilian company says that this announcement comes shortly after the release of Eve’s first Global Market Outlook, which forecasts a 30,000-strong global eVTOL fleet and USD 280 billion in projected passenger revenue by 2045.

“This collaboration with Future Flight Global is a significant step forward for Urban Air Mobility in the Americas. By leveraging Eve‘s proven eVTOL technology and robust certification process, Future Flight Global gains a powerful platform to deliver efficient, sustainable air travel in high-demand markets such as Brazil and the United States,” says Megha Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer at Eve Air Mobility.
“We are excited to be their strategic partner in this endeavour, laying the groundwork for substantial future orders as they expand their fleet,” adds Bhatia.
The electric plane maker says that the report highlights growing congestion and urbanisation as key drivers of demand for urban air mobility services and outlines technical, regulatory, and infrastructure challenges that must be addressed to enable scale.
