Members are required to fly on Etihad-operated flights to or from all 15 listed destinations by May 25, 2026
In a first-of-its-kind contest, Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has introduced a competition that offers Etihad Guest members the chance to win up to 5 million miles by visiting 15 of the airline’s new year-round destinations this year.
In a press statement, Etihad says that the competition titled The Extraordinary Challenge is open to both new and existing members of airline’s loyalty programme. Under this competition, members are required to fly on Etihad-operated flights to or from all 15 listed destinations by May 25, 2026.
It adds that the first member to complete the challenge will receive 5 million guest miles. The second and third participants to complete the challenge will receive 3 million and 1 million miles, respectively.
As per statement, Etihad says that the miles can be redeemed for flights, holidays or products through their reward shop. Five million miles, for example, can be used for over 500 Economy flights, more than 70 Business trips, or over 40 First class journeys.
The UAE airline says that participants will have access to a live leader board and a digital passport, which will update with each completed route. This feature aims to provide members with progress tracking and creates a competitive environment among participants.
According to the statement, Etihad says that the 15 destinations under this challenge are Addis Ababa, Algiers, Atlanta, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Krabi, Medan, Peshawar, Phnom Penh, Prague, Sochi, Taipei, Tunis and Warsaw.
