In what it calls its biggest-ever single-day launch of new destinations, Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways has announced 10 new routes, with destinations across the world, including Atlanta, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Phnom Penh and Taipei.

In a press statement, the airline has confirmed that many of the new destinations are in Asia, with Chiang Mai and Krabi in Thailand, Hanoi in Vietnam, Medan in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Phnom Penh in Cambodia, Taipei in Taiwan. It is launching two new destinations in Africa, namely Tunis in Tunisia and Algiers in Algeria. The 10th destination is Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States.

The statement adds that all of the routes will start in 2025, while Atlanta will operate four times weekly from July 2, followed by a daily service to Taipei from September 7. There will be three flights per week to Medan from October 2, five flights per week to Phnom Penh from October 3, and daily flights to Krabi from October 9.

The rest of the routes will also commence in November 2025, with three flights per week to Tunis from November 1, four flights per week to Chiang Mai from November 3, five flights per week to Hong Kong from November 3, six flights per week to Hanoi from  November 3, and four flights per week to Algiers from November 7. The airline says that the new routes add to the previously announced destinations of Prague and Warsaw, which will launch in June 2025.

“This expansion reflects our commitment to listening to our valued guests. We have carefully chosen cities that embody the experiences, adventures, and opportunities that matter to them. Whether seeking inspiring landscapes, vibrant cultural experiences, reuniting with family and friends, pursuing business growth, or educational journeys, our new routes will help make their travel dreams a reality,’’ says Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Airways.

With its endless sunshine, diverse cuisine, rich culture, exhilarating family theme parks, and safe, beautiful beaches, Abu Dhabi offers something for everyone.
