“We are pleased to bring our reimagined retail store concept to Africa for the first time, elevating our customer experience in Kenya, and then in more destinations across the continent in the coming months. The Emirates World store provides a flavour of the signature experience we offer, from friendly and insightful staff to hands-on showcases that bring our ‘Fly Better’ promise to life. We can’t wait to inspire our customers to discover more with Emirates when they visit the store,” says Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.
This opening coincides with nearly 30-year history of Emirates in Kenya, beginning with its first flight to Nairobi in 1995.
The statement adds that over time, Emirates has strengthened its presence through interline partnerships with Kenya Airways and humanitarian efforts supporting local organisations such as the Little Prince Nursery and Alfajiri Street Kids.
The airline has also provided scholarships for students at the Starehe Boys’ Centre, reinforcing its commitment to Kenyan communities.
It adds that Emirates’ interline arrangement with Kenya Airways has enabled over 12,000 passengers to explore destinations beyond Nairobi through simplified connectivity, including routes to Mombasa, Kilimanjaro and Kigali.
The Emirates World concept aims to offer a more dynamic, immersive experience for African travellers, aligning with the airline’s vision to elevate service and accessibility throughout the continent.
